Buena Serra, Signore.

I don't hold much regard for any organized religion. Religion, per se, has been responsible for more wars and wrongdoing than nearly any other cause. But I have to respect the late Pope John Paul II, even if I didn't always agree with him. I always felt he operated out of sincere care for others, and not for himself. Goodnight sweet prince.

To Italy and Back

Long time here without a post, sorry. I hope all had a blessed Easter season.
My wife and I went to Italy the middle of the month for almost two weeks.
It was a wonderful trip, and we experienced a tremendous amount of the
history and beauty of the country in that short time. Our trip started in Rome for three nights, then we traveled south to Pompei, Sorento and Capri. Heading north again
we saw Siena, Asissi, spent two more nights in Florence, then west to Venice and
finaly ended near Milan and a flight home. My only regret was that by touring to see
the maximum amount in a short time, we didn't really get to meet many Italians or
learn about their day to day lives. Upon my return home I caught an awful case of flu,
but I have recovered now and am back to work.

Take care all,
