Seasons
Fall is here. I wrapped up the convertible and put it in storeage for the winter. I'm not sad, I look forward to getting it out again next spring. For now there is winter to look forward to. Right now running in the cooler weather is refreshing. Soon it will be even cooler and the running will be "bracing" Eventualy it will get damn cold and that's when the snowshoes and cross country skis come out. I'm traveling to Chicago to watch my brother run in the Chicago Marathon this coming Sunday. It is his first attempt at this kind of distance. Hope all have an enjoyalbe autumn weekend.

Another woman is facing a death penalty, this time in Iran. Faramin writes about Afsaneh Nouroozi, an Iranian woman convicted of killing a police official. At her trial she defended her actions saying she was being raped. Her conviction and death sentence has been upheld by an appeals court. She could be hung any time. You can read how to help her at Faramin's site.
